'Very excited' new dad Jackson Rathbone and his girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi welcomed their first son on July 5!
'Thank you ALL for the love & support! Sheila & I couldn't be happier to have such a beautiful, healthy baby boy, Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI,' he tweeted on July 5.
Us Weekly reports that baby Monroe was born at 9:43 a.m. and weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces at birth.
'One of the greatest things I could expect to be in life is a father,' he told Us Weekly in February. 'I'm very excited!'
Jackson is best known as Jasper Hale in the Twilight saga. He met his burlesque dancer girlfriend, 24, during a tour stop with his band 100 Monkeys.
