Angelina Jolie has never been BFFs with Brad Pitt's mom Jane, who reportedly still stays in touch with Brad's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, but their relationship just took its coldest turn yet! Angelina is said to be 'steaming mad' that Jane wrote a letter to The Springfield News-Ledger opposing gay marriage, and she wants her fiancé to step in. 'She has told Brad he must educate his mother,' a source tells Star magazine, 'but Brad is too much of a mama's boy.'
But wait, it gets worse.
'If Brad won't do it, Angelina will have to take matters into her own hands and talk to Jane about how, as the mother of such a prominent celebrity, she shouldn't be writing letters that clash with her son's political opinions.'
The source adds that an Angelina-Jane confrontation would be devastating ' and could potentially end the couple's engagement:
'It'll eventually end up in a huge blowout, with Brad stuck in the middle.'
