A gunman who opened fire in a crowded movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, killed 12 people and injured at least 38 others, reportedly including a 3-month-old baby. Read on for all the details.

A three-month-old was reportedly one of the many injured in a shooting incident that happened during the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in a Denver suburb. The suspect allegedly spread tear gas in the Aurora theater, spraying innocent audience members with bullets, ultimately killing 12 people.

According to hospital workers, at least 38 others were injured, including children and a 3-month-old infant.

The suspect was arrested in the parking lot of the theater. He did not resist or put up a fight. Police are saying he is an Aurora man in his 20s, currently being identified as James Holmes. Police seized a rifle, a handgun, and another firearm found in the theater.

What a horrible tragedy. Our thoughts go out to the family of the victims, and wish a safe recovery for those who are injured.
