Honey Boo Boo's family has yet again sparked controversy related to the sugary, highly-caffeinated soda Mountain Dew!
Earlier this year, June Shannon, 30, was criticized for giving her daughter, Honey Boo Boo (real name: Alana Thompson) a mixture of Mountain Dew and Red Bull during an episode of Toddlers & Tiaras. Now, Honey Boo Boo's 12-year-old sister, Lauryn Thompson, has been caught feeding Mountain Dew to her newborn niece, Kaitlyn!
Horrifying new photographs show Lauren dipping Kaitlyn's pacifier into a can of Mountain Dew before letting the one-month-old suck on it. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, children who consume too much caffeine are at raised risk of neurological and cardiovascular problems. And 'too much' is probably any amount for a newborn baby!
The photos were snapped at the Sparkle & Shine Pageant in Georgia this past weekend.
