Newly pregnant Kim is fuming at her soon to be ex-husband, as she feels she can't 'fully embrace' her baby joy with Kanye West because she is still legally married to Kris!
Poor Kim Kardashian! The reality TV star should be overjoyed that she is expecting her first child with her long term boyfriend Kanye West, but instead, her happiness is tainted by the fact that she is still struggling to divorce Kris Humphries. While Kim has admitted that she is 'blessed and lucky' to be expecting a baby, according to a new report, she is fuming because 'Kris is hell bent on dragging her name through the mud by prolonging the divorce proceedings.'
Kim's Anger At Kris
Kim and Kris separated in October 2011 after 72 days of marriage. She began dating Kanye several months later, and they are clearly a match made in heaven. Fans were overjoyed when Kanye announced their pregnancy on stage on Dec. 30, but one person who is not happy about their romance is Kris. As previously reported by HollywoodLife.com, he has been dragging his feet during their divorce proceedings, and Kim is NOT happy about it.
'Kim is seeing red because she is still legally married to Kris,' a source tells Radar Online. 'Kim is overjoyed at the news that she is pregnant with Kanye's baby, but she isn't able to fully embrace it because of Kris. Kim feels that Kris is hell bent on dragging her name through the mud by prolonging the divorce proceedings.'
It's unclear if Kim will still be married when she gives birth in June 2013.
'Kim knows that she most likely will still be married to Kris when she gives birth to Kanye's baby, and that absolutely sickens her,' the source continues. 'Kim has been pressuring her attorney, Laura Wasser, to get [Kris] Humphries to sign off on the divorce, to no avail. Kris is holding the position that if Kim grants him an annulment on the grounds that the marriage was a sham, this whole thing ends. However, Kim won't give in to his demands because it would damage her brand.'
Kanye is desperate to have Kim free of Kris, even more so now that they are having a baby. Kim and Kris' divorce court date has been set for Feb. 15, so hopefully next month Kim will be able to make some headway with her case.
