As previously reported by HollywoodLife.com, Pattie wants her son to reconcile with former girlfriend Selena Gomez, because she thinks Justin's new friends are bringing him down the wrong path. And she is right! Justin: your mom loves you, she wants the best for you, so she would not encourage you to win back Selena if she didn't think it was a good idea. And you were a better person when you were together! Read on to see why I think Justin should heed his mother's advice.

Justin, you have fallen off the bandwagon lately, for many reasons. The prince of pop, 18, has allegedly been smoking weed, beating up his bodyguards, and drinking codeine syrup lately.
So why has Justin been acting so out of character? His new friends: Lil Twist and Lil Za. You've got to stop hanging with them, Justin! They are a bad influence, and they will only bring you down further. Look what has happened to stars like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan when they fell in with the wrong crowd. You have a career that most aspiring singers will only ever dream about, so don't throw it away.
HollywoodLife.com Editor Chris Rogers believes that Justin should end his friendship with Lil Twist because he thinks that Lil' Twist is to blame for Justin's recent erratic behavior, and that he needs a clean break from the rapper if he wants his relationship with Selena to work out.
My two cents? Listen to your mom, Justin! Pattie has always been Justin's biggest fan, and she knows what she is talking about. She is encouraging him to reunite with Selena, 20, because she is a good influence on Justin. Selena is a Disney princess and a UNICEF ambassador, and when she and Justin were together, he wrote cute love songs and he rented out the Staples Center so they could watch Titanic.
And if Justin plays his cards right, a reunion may be possible!
Justin & Selena Gomez Headed For A Reunion?
Justin and Selena were spotted together on Feb. 2 at a private concert in Hollywood's Soho House, where they watched girl group Young LA perform. Furthermore, they will both be in New York City this week, where Selena will attend a fashion show for Adidas Neo, and Justin will host Saturday Night Live on Feb. 9.
Pattie, cross your fingers, because you may get your wish!
