Who says the Super Bowl is the biggest celebrity sporting event of the year? On Feb. 17, the crowd in Houston, Texas was PACKED with celebs for the 2013 NBA All-Star game.
NBA All-Star Weekend is always a huge event. It puts the most popular, powerful athletes in the world all on the same court ' and tons of celebrities flock to see the show. This year, Beyonce and Jay-Z took the game in sitting courtside, and were joined by the likes of Alicia Keys, Drake, Chris Brown, and more!
Beyonce & Jay-Z's All-Star Night
Beyonce had plenty to be happy about on Feb. 17. A night before, her documentary Life Is But a Dream premiered on HBO ' and Houston is her hometown! Queen B, joined by her rap star husband Jay-Z, sat back, relaxed, and took in an exciting game of basketball to celebrate. Beyonce, in a stunning black and white dress with yellow heels, and Jay, in 'all black everything' and a leather Brooklyn Nets hat, looked like they were having the time of their lives.
Throughout the night, the all-star couple got visits from a bunch of celebrities who were also in attendance. Drake jokingly played waiter and served Bey and Jay drinks. Alicia Keys also dropped by, toting along 2-year-old son Egypt.
Jay-Z looked like the mayor of NBA All-Star Weekend, shaking hands with celebs like Diddy, and also chatting it up with a handful of players ' notably the game's MVP Chris Paul and longtime friend LeBron James.
More Celebs At The All-Star Game
Alicia Keys, while also watching the game, performed the All-Star game halftime show, singing a medley of her hits, including the classic 'Empire State of Mind.' Unfortunately, Jay-Z did not join in with her.
Chris Brown ' sitting with a few friends ' also took in the All-Star game. As far as we know, he avoided Drake and no Gatorade bottles were thrown by either.
