First Child Victims Named In Sandy Hook School Shooting

All 27 bodies have been identified and were removed from the Newtown, CT school during the night of Dec. 14. We have the first photos of some of the child victims. So sad.

Ana Marquez-Greene, 7, Jesse Lewis, 6, and Grace McDonnell, 6, are the first three children to be named as victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that took place on Dec. 14.

Adam Lanza, 24, went from classroom to classroom, killing 26 people, 20 who were children. Sadly, Ana, Jesse and Grace were among those children.

Ana's father is Canadian jazz musician Jimmy Greene. He told Daily Mail that he couldn't find the words to express the grief that he's feeling.

Jesse's father Neil Heslin told the New York Post that he dropped his son off at school that morning and planned to return in the afternoon to join parents in the holiday tradition of making gingerbread houses.

Grace, who was also killed, has been described as 'utterly adorable' and 'full of life.' She has big blue eyes and bright blonde hair ' she was often compared to a doll because of her stark beauty. Her parents are said to be going through 'indescribable' pain.

President Obama's Address To A Saddened Country

On Dec. 14, President Barack Obama addressed a shaken and frightened nation, speaking not as a politician, but as a fellow parent. Overcome with his own grief, he had to take a moment to regain his composure and wipe tears from his eyes. 'Tonight Michelle and I will do what I know every parent in America will do, we will hug our children a little tighter. And we will tell them that we love them,' he said.
